Lot 34. Joaquin Miller. (1837-1913). American poet. After living the life of adventure in California gold mining camps, Miller turned to poetry. In his lifetime, he was as well-known in literary circles for his Westren attire and attitudes as he was for his written work. Miller is best remembered for Pacific Poems and Song of the Sierra.
