Lot 127. Henry Miller. (1891-1980). American writer whose autobiographical novels were noted for their sexual frankness and interest in self-realization. His 1930’s books Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn were banned as obscene in the United States until 1961.

Rubbing along edges of jacket, a little light at the end of inscription, not affecting signature. In very good condition. One of the most provocative inscriptions we have ever seen.
